Painting in Reverse

Spend your summer making one large-scale watercolor painting using the negative painting technique. You’ll learn how to build your image by painting around your subject to create depth. During class we will plan your composition from initial concept to framing, and paint with a focus on value, transparency, and layering. Some watercolor experience is recommended. Students provide their own supplies. Daytime Wednesdays or Tuesday evenings available. Register at Glenview Park District.
